These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Aisle Hero mobile application ("Aisle Hero," "the app"), operated by Mxhta Studio LLC ("we," "us"). By downloading or using Aisle Hero, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What Aisle Hero is
Aisle Hero lets you scan or search for food products and see a personalized health score and related information based on your stated goals, age, sex, and dietary preferences.
2. Not medical or professional advice
Aisle Hero is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Its scores, ratings, flags, and other content are not medical, nutritional, dietary, or health advice, and are not a substitute for professional guidance. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary decisions, particularly if you have allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, or specific nutritional needs. Do not rely on Aisle Hero for allergen or food-safety information — always read the actual product packaging.
3. Product data and accuracy
Product information in Aisle Hero comes from third-party databases (including Open Food Facts and the USDA FoodData Central) and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of this information and are not responsible for third-party data. Always verify details against the physical product.
4. Aisle Hero Pro (subscriptions)
Aisle Hero Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. The price and any free-trial period are shown in the app before you purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Payments, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, disrupt, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
Aisle Hero, including its design, branding, and original content, is owned by Mxhta Studio LLC. Third-party data displayed in the app remains the property of its respective providers.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Aisle Hero is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of information.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mxhta Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Aisle Hero.
9. Changes
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Aisle Hero after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
